![]() ![]() In 1995, he received the prestigious Environmental Achievement Award from the Senate of Pennsylvania for his development of the aqueous parts cleaning technology for Bethlehem Steel. In 1991, he received a certificate of completion of Bethlehem Steel’s training system front line leadership. During his employment with Bethlehem Steel, he was awarded several achievements and accolades. In 19, he traveled to Egypt to assist in the installation of the old Bethlehem rebar mill. He later became a union shop steward and continued in later years to hold several management positions. In 1974, he completed the machinist program. While working for the mill, he completed tasks throughout the entire plant. He started in 1966 at Bethlehem Steel mill as a general laborer and ended his 38-year career in management. He graduated from John Harris High School, Harrisburg, in 1966. ![]()
